Humidification for textile industry
Many production problems can be easily avoided
Many problems and halts in production in the textile industry can easily be avoided. Low humidity causes threads to dry out and snap, as well as shrink, which affects the size and measurements of the finished product. Static friction may also build up, bringing with it a fire risk.
Avoid production stops with the right humidity
CAPACITY
When the ambient air is too dry, moisture is drawn from the threads. As well as reducing the elasticity of the fibres it also allows a static charge to build up. By processing the textiles at the correct relative humidity both of these problems can be avoided.
Higher efficiency for the same production capacity
Reduction in production stops caused by snapped threads
No build up of static electricity
Improved accuracy by cutting and assembly
Less dust in the production halls
COMFORT
Another advantage of the correct humidity is that it reduces the levels of dust in the production halls. The moisture in the air makes the dust particles heavier so that they fall to the ground instead of floating around in the air. This produces a more comfortable work environment.
And an extra advantage: in warm weather the adiabatic humidification even provides a cooling effect.
Cumulus sees an end to electrostatic build-up
CONFIDENCE
In the textile industry is every production stop one production stop too many. As Dutch market leader in custom-built humidification systems, we have been helping textile manufacturers find the right humidity and reduce problems with static electricity since 1991.
